About us
The Mission of Seaside Home is to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to give spiritual, as well as physical rest, to our guests.
Seaside Home meets that mission with good food, good rest, and daily devotions with a Christian Chaplain.
Our accommodations are modest but we are steps away from the beautiful beaches of Cape May and the many activities of the surrounding area.
PAST
Established in 1879
The organization was formed and incorporated by a group of Presbyterian women who recognized a need for a respite from the city heat for women and children. The original building was located in Cape May Point, NJ.
PRESENT
The 2025 Season
The season will operate 9 weeks from June to September. The home will welcome women and children to 3 weeks dedicated solely to them. The remaining 6 weeks are open to any and all guests.
FUTURE
Our Vision
Seaside Home will use its spiritual and natural resources to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will continue to look for ways to give physical and spiritual rest to our invited guests.
